1. This is one of my favorite books on collecting miniature fire trucks and ambulances. I have used this book to keep track of what I collect and it is very informative on many models and manufacturers through 1985. I do not know of any other book that has been researched and complete concerning the collecting of emergency vehicles. I recommend this book to anyone that shares this great hobby...

1. This Italian and English language book covers the history of the infamous Mugello track now owned by Ferrari SpA. It includes a number of historical photos from the early days of the track and more recent photos from Ferrari Club Italia's Mugello meet.

   For some this may be an interesting book, particularly if you are curious about the track's history. It includes a large number of unique photos detailing the track's construction, some interesting bits on the history of racing in the area before the track was created, and the describes the issues involved in the design of the track.

   Unfortunately, I noticed several errors in the identification of different Ferrari models and therefore I'm not sure that the historical information about the track can be completely trusted. If you are interested in the track's history or are filling in a complete historical Ferrari library I'd recommend purchasing this book, otherwise leave it for another time...

2. Very Easy to use. Very Clearly written. The only thing I didn't care for in this book is that to some degree it only covers the most popular cars. It doesn't give information on the amount produced. It also doesn't give any information on the amount of variations of newer cars. Clearly this is not written for the advanced collector



3. I felt that the book showed the best samples of car colors than any other book of this type that I have read. And as collectors know, this is very important when judging its value.



4. This book tried to cover alot of the major Die-cast cars, Matchbox, Johnny Lightings etc., but the Early Hot Wheel info was what I was most into and that was fun and I learned alot of stuff I never would have known otherwise. The beginners tips are a must for collectors expierienced and new. The variations are countless on these cars and would be impossible to list all of them, however if you collect only the 'Redline Years' of hot wheels it's a pleasure to see these cars and it's a good companion to other books you may have. Photos of rare color combo's and proto-types are cool. For the hard core Redline collectors only.



5. Hot Cars is a feast for the eyes. The photography is excellent, the cars pictured are rare and hard-to-find variations and the price guide is much more accurate than other books on the market. It also includes tips on collecting die-cast cars and is a good general book about die-cast. This book, combined with others on the market, will serve collectors well.
