1. Great for the beginning collector of toy motorcycles and very useful for the long-time enthusiast. One of the few books to focus exclusively on toy motorcycles. A must for the serious collector.

1. This book covers most of the Corgi toys that were available in my childhood.This book brings back memories.So many colour photos shows so many Corgi toys.

1. The Collector's Guide to Ideal Dolls ID & Values 2nd ED by Judith Izen is another great book by this author. I have been looking for information on a Miss Revlon doll for years and I opened the box and right on the cover is the information I have been looking for. I am thrilled! Any doll collector or lover would love this book. Thanks Judy for another great job! Very fast shipping and a signed copy, it doesn't get any better than this!



2. Enjoyed this book and also the prompt manner in which it was delivered to me by userbro128. It was a used book and let me tell you it did not look used at all. Highly recommend the seller and the book to any one intrested.



3. The majority of the pages in this 350-page book are loaded with color photos and information on the Ideal dolls manufactured from 1907 up through the 1980s. Most dolls are pictured in their original outfits and some photos are packages of the original outfits. Also included are photos of ads for specific dolls. The book starts with a short history of the Ideal Toy Co., while the back of the book gives more information on issue dates, characteristics, and current prices.

   This book is a must have for those doll collectors that want to restore a doll to original condition.




4. Fabulous color pictures of all the dolls in the book- tons of dolls you will recognize and some you won't. Also features the manufacture marks you will find on dolls to identify them. Most of the dolls are shown in original outfits- some with original packaging and a small percentage are shown redressed. Complete with price guide.



5. I truly recommend this book, not merely for finding out your Ideal doll's monetary value, but more as a walk down memory lane. Being 56 years old, I remember growing up with many of Ideal's dolls. I especially enjoyed the brief mention of the Snuggles' doll and rocking horse(which many books on dolls leave out). So, if you are tired of reading dribble..., then snuggle up with this pictorial walk down memory lane.

1. The book is complete, that is; you should be able to find whatever you are looking for back as a reference for numbers and years but the values mentioned are extremely high. Just follow on-line auctions for a while and you know that the "real life" values are.
   Almost text only. You cannot use this book without a picture book to accompany it.

4. Since buying this book, I have referred to it many times. If you are a Barbie collector or trader this book would be very helful. I use it everyday for just that reason. The pictures in the front are great. The large price guide section is as well. Not only vintage & comtemporary Barbie's but many accessories & other items. I was happy to find a section on Gene dolls, which I am just becoming familiar with. Very happy with this book purchase.



5. Sure, there are prices for just about every single Barbie item every made, but it's much more. This book is very helpful in looking up what item goes with what outfit, the year it was made and the stock number/name. The photos are very helpful to clearly identify which doll you are looking at. I especially like the price guide for the individual vintage accessory pieces. This year Gene and other fashion dolls were added too. Knowledge is power. You can't know too much about your hobbie/collection.

1. This is one of 3 books written by author Robert Schleicher.This title covers advice on building cars,race tune cars,driving techniques,building scenery,organizing races,etc.
   
   This book has several b&w photos but they should have been colour.
   
   For anyone starting out with Slot Cars this is the first book you should consider.



2. If you have caught the slot car bug, this book should be a must have to get you up to speed. It has a nice selection of track designs that span across all current track manufactures(There is also a chapter for those wanting to create permanent tracks).
   
   You can tell Robert Schleicher has been active in the hobby since the beginning. His descriptions and writing style are easy to understand. As well as up to date.
   
   He goes into custom modification of tracks, and is appropriately detailed without boring you into a coma.
   
   The only ding that I can give the book is it's frequent use of black and white photographs. The book uses heavy, quality paper throughout. All color pictures would have been nice.
   
   Good book. Well worth the price



3. This is a very well done book on the slot car hobby for the beginner, novice and advanced enthusiast. I particularly found the information on various track layout designs, car tune-up and custom car building to be excellent. This book focuses on 1/32 scale and provides limited HO scale coverage. It has rekindled my interest in the hobby.



4. This is a must have . If you are an avid slot fan or have ever owned slot cars you will appreciate this book. Robert did a great job....
