1. This book is an excellent source of information on Ty plush animals! It is a valuable addition to any collector! I got this for my mother, she collects Ty Bears, and she didn' realize how many were actually out there. Excellent book, very well put together!



2. We Ty plush collectors have been waiting for this book. This guide contains pictures and information on Ty plush that I had never ever heard of! The pictures are very well done, very clear. It also has information on Attics and Beanies, but it's the plush section that really makes it unique.



3. This guide gives you an in depth look at pictures and prices for the collectibles you have! Helps you to identify those pieces who may not have tags and assess their value. A MUST have for the Ty Plush collector!

1. I just got this book in the mail today, and I must say, I'm impressed with everything!! First of all, I live in Canada, but it still arrived BEFORE the estimated time given! My day just got better when I opened the book. I've been collecting the Ty products for almost a year now, and this is the best combination of information I've seen yet! It's nicely colored, easy to use, and has all the information you'll need to keep track of a collection! Although new beanies have hit the market since this was published, I still highly recommend this book for all the background information it gives.

1. I highy recommend this book. This book is a must have for the Hartland and model horse collector. It is very thorough. Easy to read for younger collectors, too. A lot of work went into this book. The pictures and information are just wonderful. It has helped me with identifying and catloging my own collection.. I take it with me when I going antiquing. I would highly also recommend her other book: Hartland Horses and Dogs.

Thanks to author Gail Fitch to one of the most comprehensive guides to Hartland collectibles I have every seen..WOW... > Her expertise and careful research is abundant in this guide... models, dates, pictures and company history of Hartland Plastics.. A MUST HAVE for all model horse collectors!



3. I have always enjoyed collecting western characters and their horses, dogs, etc. This book finally puts it all together. The book also allows me to look at pictures of pieces I can only dream about. The information is terrific and the photos are superb. If you are an "old cowboy" like me, you need at least one copy of this book!

Gail Fitch has done a superb job of putting together extrememly detailed and accurate information about all of Hartland's horse and rider figures, with lots of very nice pictures showing details that complement the text. This book has gotten rave reviews from non-Hartland collectors as well as all kinds of horse collectors, and they are well deserved! This is a book that can keep you happily absorbed for long periods of time and it's an essential reference for collectors. Hartland Horsemen is an excellent book, very professionally done, and I love it! Like someone else said, I can't wait until the Hartland horse book is done so I can buy it!



5. I love this book! I don't know what else the author could have included -- it is so complete. I especially like the fact that the book is broken into sections, i.e. the horses and riders, the standing gunfighters, the riders and the horses shown separately in other sections. I also enjoy the history section in the back, and the detailed written descriptions about the models and their variations. The quality of the color photos is superb and I would highly recommend this book to any Hartland collector. I can't wait till her book on the breed horses comes out!

1. this book is not good at all.it only contains info about 1999 beanie babies. dont waste your money on this book. you can look up an online price guide on the computer and find the value of your beanies.



2. This book is nicely done, and has excellent photographs of Beanie Babies. The book is for Winter of 1999. It lacks many of the current Beanie Babies that are on sale now and is outdated. If you need to be kept current this is not the book to use. The current monthly magazines are the best buy for your money.



3. The cover says Winter 1999 Edition, but the book is 1998 information. It has 40 beanie babies that were listed in the Summer 1999 edition missing, and it only lists the first 9 Beanie Buddies instead of 28. I feel I really got cheated.



4. This series of books becomes outdated very quickly (every time Ty releases or retires beanies).

1. What fun to go back in time and relive the Beanie Baby craze. This book has everything: pricing, detailed information, cool pics and great nostalgia value. This is one terrificly talented writer who goes into all the necessary detail for us collectors out here. She uses creative yet comfortable language and is obviously in tune with her reading public. I loved reliving those fun times through this neato book!



2. All in all, this book was just plain good. I was disappointed with it though. The prices were very inaccurate for the time. I urge you to look at other books.



3. While it is impossible to keep prices current, as a starter beanie collector, I found this guide a useful resource. I still refer to it as I make my way through the mountain of plush with beans out there. I'm happy with it.. though the picture quality for some of the beanies could have been significantly improved.. Its worth the $15 I paid. (:o)



4. Frankly, I was disappointed in this book. It has some good information, but the quality of the pictures is very poor. Many of them are out of focus or too far away and look very amateurish. Also, the prices for the Beanies seem out of date. I wish I could get Righty for $110.00.

1. I just recently dusted off my binder and tried to go to the website listed on the back. No site found. I searched for the binder on Amazon and found that the updates have been disc. I'm so disappointed because I thought it was best one offered for collectors. FYI, the last binder published was a Final Millennial Edition that includes a 12/31/99 Retired section. The one I have is signed by Peg, also. If anyone knows why the updates never happened, please respond.
