1. My husband and I know one of the authors, Tim Mierzwa, personally. He told us in August of 2005 that he had a book coming out about fishing lures and other equipment. We weren't sure what to think. But when we received the book recently, my
   husband and I were extremely impressed on the detail, the photos, explanations and layout of the book! My husband enjoys
   fishing and I don't, but BOTH of us are enjoying the book
   immensely! I am now ordering another copy for the outdoor club
   we live in to share with the members. For anyone interested in
   fishing, collecting fishing gear and/or the history and value of fishing gear, this is THE book to own!

1. Having collected auto racing memorabilia for years I have often wondered why someone hasn't come out with a definitive resource. Well, here it is! While it is very small in size it is not short on value. Covering everyting from driver profiles to open wheel racing this is the ultimate source. It's a shame that it gets buried on the book shelf because of its size, but good things really do come in small packages! Outstanding!

1. This book spends more time on loan to antique dealers and decoy collectors then it does in my library. It is an excellent reference work for collector and waterfowler alike. Everyone who sees it and collects, deals or dreams wants a copy. But we simply can't find them. Superb pictures and detailed text. We rate it excellent all around.

Covering items like toys, games, dolls, skis, ornaments, posters, ceramics and even snowboards, I think it would appeal to anyone with an interest in skiing or collecting. It is a must have for anyone that has or collects any old ski related items. It has a complete pricing guide and is just packed with many colorful photos. A+++!

First, this is a larger 9 3/4" x 12 1/2" coffee table size book with 222 pages including many color plate pics of vintage fishing tackle including rods, reels, lures, reels, decoys and other related fishing equipment from the 1800's to 1950's and somewhat later. Very nice color pictures, and good explanations. Not a value guide but a fairly comprehensive look at vintage fishing tackle. A very well price value comparatively.

1. I HAVE PLENTY OF JORDAN COLLECTOR'S BOOK AND THIS IS THE ONE IN MY BOOKSHELF. THE COLLECTION IS NOT UP-DATE BECAUSE IT WAS PUBLISHED 2 YRS AGO, (MJ PRODUCE A LOT OF ITEMS AFTER RETIRE TO MAKE $$). BUT IT IS REALLY WORTH TO READ FOR THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO $ TO BUY ALL THE COLLECTOR ITEMS LIKE ME.
