3. Las personas que tildan el libro de fantasioso, o que no aporta nada, pueden estar en lo cierto para ellos, pues ellos no han sabido interpretarlo de la manera indicada. Tener un deseo,pensar y sentarse a esperar que se dara, no es lo que ensena el libro. El secreto es creer que tu deseo es una realidad sin NINGUNA duda, agredecer por haberlo obtenido, e incluir las emociones de felicidad, alegria, entuasiasmo por tener dicho deseo, aunque aun no este aqui materializado, pues asi vendra mas rapido, cuando incluimos las emociones. Por eso no funciona a los que dudan. Atraemos cosas a nuestra vida que no nos gusta porque sin darnos cuenta mucha gente vive con temores, complejos, inseguridades y eso debe ser superado para entender esto. No es facil, toma tiempo cambiar una actitud con la que hemos crecido. Las cosas como guerras o desastres naturales, no estan en nuestra mente, una sola persona no puede desear que no haya guerra, si no miles de personas tienen que enfocarse en la paz.



4. I bought this book for my wife and also read it. Basically it tells you that if you have confidence in yourself you can accomplish anything you want if you work hard enough. You dont need a book to tell you that.

1. AWESOME way to teach small children Spanish. It's the best book in Spanish that I own (and I own many). My one-year-old and my two-year-old both learned all the body parts and more through this book. They love the cute pictures and pullup flaps. I want to find more books like this one!



2. It's really hard to find board books in the original Spanish, which means the majority of books available are translations that don't have the same rhyme/meter/ease of the original. Our version of this books reads "piececitos" for "feet" which is excessively awkward (less awkward would be "piecitos") and, according to some, incorrect. We're raising our son to be bilingual and since he gets English at school we try to exclusively speak Spanish in the home. It's hard to find culturally/linguistically accurate books in Spanish for him that aren't 1) bilingual and/or 2) sloppily translated. Bummer.



3. My 18 month old daughter loves this book. My husband and I do also, except for the fact that all of the names of the body parts are written with "ito" at the end. (used to say it is small) I would prefer "boca" and not "bociquita", or "ojos" instead of "ojitos". Other than that it is a great book. Especially with the flaps.



4. This book is fun for my 8 month old. He has learned where to flip the pages up or down and enjoys playing with the folds. The paper does usually return to its usual spot, but could be more sturdy (that's why I gave 4 stars rather than 5.)



5. I brought this book for my daughter-in-law to read to our grandchild. They are teaching dual languages (English and Spanish) to him as his other grandparents are Chileans.

1. Este maravilloso libro enuncia verdades tan sencillas, que a primera vista es dificil creerlo. Sus explicaciones sobre el funcionamiento de la mente son excelentes. Me ha ayudado mucho. Lo recomiendo para complementar con "El Método Silva de Control Mental , para obtener ayuda del otro lado", y " El Secreto".



2. This books explain in a simple method all the functions of the mind and all the power you have using your subconciuos mind. Your life will chage a lot if you read this book.

4. This is one of the worst examples of flagrant miss-use of scientific langugage. Only because I believed the scientific impression of the title did I buy the book in Spanish and English in order to be a tool for improving my spanish. Even if that is about $50 wasted, I WILL NOT waste any time on ANY of it. I want to enjoy the information that I read when I improve my spanish, not read nonsense and prattle. I will improve my spanish by HONEST and interesting books. They say that religious people in general can be trusted more than non religious people. Well that is absolutely NOT the case. Here is a case of religious people TRYING EVERYTHING to take you in, and they have NO IDEA that their dishonesty is as clear as the sun on a clear day. Dishonesty is LYING and the xth commandment is supposed to tell them "thou shalt not lie"; "thou shalt not bear false witness". Pretending Science while sprouting Religion is lying, is dishonesty, is bearing false witness.
   
   My problem with the book is that I want to know about the power of the subconscious mind and they tell me to pray and the power of god and to learn to pray and how other people did this and that and got magic of the subconscious mind, and you will get the magic etc etc etc. it is EVERYWHERE throughout the book. No science in sight.

1. This is an excellent, fun book. My 2yr 7 month daughter mimics each of the animals. Its a lot of interactive fun!



2. De la cabeza a los pies has the same advantages for children learning Spanish as a second language as the English version has for English language learners. The text is both brief and comprehensible due to the illustrations, and it's also interactive as it invites listeners to participate in the body actions. Native Spanish speakers also enjoy the opportunity to get all their body parts moving.



3. My one year old son loves this book, and I love acting it out for him.



4. This book is excellent! We use it in our Spanish classes and the students love to "move" like the animals in the book. It's a great tool for teaching about the parts of the body and animals.

1. Realmente compre este libro Basado en los reviews o comentarios de los demas,
   El "ARQUIMISTA" se base de o el autor se enfoca en tres Pasos:
   1- Un Pastor
   2- Un Oasis
   3- Un Arquimista
   hay libros que te dan deseos de seguir al proximo capitulo, este te da deseo de terminar rapido para salir de el capitulo que estas y ver si encuentra algo interesante en el proximo.
   
   He leido 2 Libros de Paulo Coelho incluyendo este y tratare de evadirlos.



2. DESACUERDO.
   Que me gusta la tema general- la de seguir los sueños- pero solamente cumpli leyendo este libro por fe de que no todos podrian estar equivocados sobre El Alquimista. HACE CONSTAR:
   Sí. Estan Todos Equivocados (menos ellos como "Eli").
   Este libro defina cliché. La trama no tiene nada que ver con "alquimia" cualquier significara este termino. En lugar de algun sentido de magia (como se presenta en libros como Harry Potter) este libro se impregna con un sentido meta-religioso que a veces cita a la Biblia Sacra, pero mas frequente acerca a un nocion de auto-deificacion. Enfatiza la santidad de la naturaleza y las "señas" que nos puede dar. La mezcla resulta absurda. En manos de un autor mas diestro, quiza podria yo involucrarme mas con esta tipa de espiritualidad, pero Paulo Coelho (por lo menos en su version del libro espanol) no es este autor.
   La unica cosa que puedo decir en favor de este libro es que es facilisimo para leer. De verdad soy hablante primeramente de ingles, y un estudiante EEUU. No tuve que consultar mi diccionario ingles/espanol ni una vez. Entonces, verdad que si seas un estudiante nuevo de espanol podras leer El Alquimista con exito pero probablemente con ganas de arrancarse los cabellos tambien. En ingles:
   Predictable, Cheesy, Sappy, Cliche!



3. I've listened to the book in English (in the shape of an audiobook) and read it in Spanish. It was great in either language. The book is not too long, and it is told using simple language, meaning it will not take long to read the entire work which is good for a quick read or something you do not want to invest too much time on. The narrative is simple to understand as well as the ideas, this does not mean that the story is dull or dumb by any means. There are things that the reader can learn from the characters in the work, and the reader can sometimes identify with the character in the story.
   
   Positive message/good story/not very long



4. A friend suggested this book to me and I could not put it down. It is my first book from Paulo Coelho. Well written, interesting, learned a few things that I have put to practice, also helped me refresh my Spanish.



5. I bought this book for my dad after I read it. I loved how it was easy to read quick and enticing. Additionally it was the perfect supplement to the amazing workshops I have been taking. A must read.

1. Trabaje en warehouse de una libreria muy famosa, y antes de que saliera ala venta yo ya le habia dado una revisada, cuando salio ala venta fueron muchos ejemplares los que se vendieron mucha la demanda. Me parese que cuando uno tiene dinero puede darse ese lujo, asi que es muy facil ir por el mundo sin preocuparse de lo monerario y adquirir experiencias de esos viajes.
   Si yo tubiera dinero haria lo mismo, y me enamoraria en francia, o espa~a, y ahora la autora del libro con todo lo que a vendido se puede ir a la india las veces que quiera y adquirir mas experiencias con todo el dinero que hizo del libro pero esta vez lo tiene por las personas que compraron el libro, y la mayoria fueron de bajos recursos, recordemos que en el mundo hay mas pobresa que gente rica.......... Yo ahorro y ahorro y no puedo ir ni a la playa.
   No creeo que sea tan bueno el libro, me parece ami, soy una gran compradora de libros, es en lo que mas gasto mi dinero, pero este no lo compre gracias a que lo hize en mi trabajo, y nada extraordinario es. Es mi opinion.

Somewhere before the end of Italy though, Elizabeth Gilbert goes from all these lovely and positive traits to a person bent on proving that she deserves to have whatever the heck it is she wants. In fact, we should all do ourselves the favor of becoming self absorbed and selfish.
   
   And that is the journey that Gilbert suffers us on. She deserves a break today and everyday and sets out to figure out, "What does Elizabeth want." Period.
   
   And really how terrific is that, an advance for a book, this book, telling all of us how to achieve selfishness, like we need told, duh.
   
   I really enjoyed the first third of the book, but Gilbert gets to be so full of herself, her wisdom, her desires that is just got b-o-r-i-n-g.

4. Gary Chapman expone en su libro un análisis interesantísimo y bien escrito de los lenguajes afectivos del humano. La lectura no le será solamente beneficiosa para la relación que mantiene con su cónyuge sino también afectará positivamente sus lazos interfamiliares o con los amigos. Chapman da muchos ejemplos prácticos y de la vida real, de modo que cada lector podrá identificarse con alguno de los tipos de comunicación afectiva descritos. "Los cinco lenguajes del amor" es una obra muy práctica y aplicable a la vida cotidiana. Yo lo considero una contribución bastante útil y absolutamente recomendable para enriquecer su comunicación afectiva y comprender mejor sus propias necesidades.
