1. Great reference book for collectors and dealers. Covers all the years of the great American Tin Litho toy manufacturer, J. Chein (pronounced CHAIN). Color pics are invaluable as a reference and guide to finding this highly desirable Chein tin toys. If you are a tin toy collector it is a must have pictorial guide to Chein toys.

1. If you collect new, inexpensive teapots, this may be helpful, but for someone looking for vintage and antique teapot info, dont buy this book, its a total waste of time. There are a few vintage pots, but most info in on cheap import teapots. I found this to be a waste of money



2. Collectible Teapots is a wonderful book if it only had an index. How can a book that has "A Reference & Price Guide" right under the title not have an index? I don't believe it is the fault of the author, Tina Carter, because she has a section titled "Finding Your Teapot in this Book" and the first sentence says "If you want to find information on a specific teapot, the first place to look is in the Index." Well there is no index.
   I called Krause Publications and the person I talked to suggested that it might have been cut out to keep the book a certain size. If that was the case somebody made a real bad decision. After you read through the book and then want to refer back to something you have to flip through the pages hoping to find it again.



3. A gorgeous 208 page softbound volume containing more than 400 large, full color, sharp photos. A joy for the teapot collector. In addition to the great photos and descriptions, year 2000 values are provided. Just a few of the topics covered are Teapots as An Investment, Striking the Right Deal, Starting a Collection, What to Watch For, Condition, Marks, Exhibit and more. The type of teapots covered range from advertising, souvenir and commemorative, children's, fine china, floral, glass and holiday, to music box, novelty, porcelain and pottery. Each topic is completely covered. There is plenty of information in the "Collector's Guidelines" section. A beautiful and useful reference work, worthy of every collector's library. You'll refer to it often.

2. I found this book to be an absolutely invaluable guide on all things Disney related.Every item is photographed and dated, from the earliest to the most current collectibles.

1. Such a valuable book I use it almost every day. I use this text for my own research to show clients examples of glass work. The photographs are fantastic you can see each detail. Millar's always seem to put out a great text.

2. This book is loaded with pretty pictures. If you buy a book about glass patterns, I would assume you are trying to identify what you have and wish to have a good reference. Instead, you get pretty pictures of glass mostly assorted by artist. This isn't helpful! If you just want to bursh up, you might like this. I'm selling this on eBay and just to get some of my money back! It's really that bad.



3. This is a "must have" for glass enthusiasts. It is very well researched and covers many little known glass studios and manufacturers. The value guide is also very helpful.

1. I found this book quickly became my favorite, looking through and finding an extensive section on the heirloom pattern. It is hard to find info on this pattern this complete with lovely pictures and numbers. This is invaluable to Fostoria collectors.



2. The section on Heirloom alone is worth the price of the book. Every piece is listed in every color, with prices, and dates! The photographs are in vivid color, with every piece identified. These gals have got it together. Milk Glass is a revelation as well. Lots of goodies in this book. Lots of color and more information than I've ever seen about this period. A must for Fostoria collectors!
