1. I really liked this book! Easy to read and very informative. This book is an uncomplicated, well organized manual on buying and selling Good Junk. A must read for everyone interested in selling their finds!



2. Linda's book is fun and interesting to read. After reading it you really believe that you can take the initiative and start your own business and have fun doing it at the same time. Linda takes you step by step through the process of finding and selling items in such a manner that "You too can do this". This is a "must read" for anyone who loves to go to flea markets, yard sales, and auctions. Enjoy reading-----------Steve

1. A couple of the reccomendations:

   Griffey's 89 Donruss over his 89 Upper Deck. At the time the book was written the Donruss sold for $4 and the Upper Deck for $12. The Donruss now goes for $12 and the Upper Deck for $150... and has been mentioned as possibly one of the best of the Modern Cards.

   81 Fleer Graig Nettles card(error) $12 card should be worth $25 in 2 years... It's now worth $10

   75 Topps Robin Yount

   83 Topps Wade Boggs

   84 Fleer Update Dwight Gooden I love this one, $75 card now worth $14

   69Topps Reggie Jackson

   72 Topps Carlton Fisk. Sell your children, sell your vintage T-Bird, buy this card. Was $50 now $55

   Just to name a few. I did appreciate a couple of their calls. 79 Topps Ozzie Smith,86 Sportflics Canseco/Greenwell/Tartabull Error. I thought the 89 Star Co. Bob Hamelin was a good call. He did only have one good year and then fizzled but the call did show insight. I gave the book 2 stars because the reading was enjoyable and informative. The picks were just terrible. In their defense I would like to say that most of these cards are from the "era of mass production" and as we all no scarcity as well as popularity drive a cards price. I didn't have time to price out all the cards in the book and then compare them to todays values, but maybe that would be a good rainey day project. If I do I will update this.

THE BOOK IS VERY INTERESTING FOR THOSE LIKE ME WHO GREW UP IN THE 50's and 60's.the pictures are very good and the book is very easy reading with a capsule of all the top 100 players.the pictures look like they were taken yesterday.What is particularly rewarding is the book brings me back and reveals to me how really great these players were.STan musial to bill dickey to the great negro league players.babe ruth is ranked # WITH WILLIE MAYS RANKED SECOND ON THE ALL TIME LIST.THE PLAYERS OF YESTERDAY WOULD BE GREAT IN ANY ERA.I AM REALLY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THE BOOK IT IS EASY TO READ AND CONTAINS ALL OF THE GREAT ALL TIME BASEBALL RECORD HOLDERS AND COMPARES THEM BASED ON STATISTICAL COMPARISON/A MUST READ FOR ANY BASEBALL FAN OF THE FUTURE/PRESENT AND PAST

1. I consider this book a three dimensional scrapbook of life from the late 1950s to the present as seen through pop culture, fashion, music, entertainment and of course, fashion dolls. While Barbie doll was the undisputed "Queen of the Prom" other dolls portrayed a lifestyle that will never be forgotten. Relive the past or greet it for the first time! Enjoy! A. Glenn Mandeville



2. Glen's knowledge of Barbie and other fashion dolls is superb! This book includes otherwise rare information on all the non-Barbie fashion dolls as well, such as Kenner's Darci, Hasbro's Jem, Creata Lace, the Littlechap family, Tressy, and many more.

   This book is priceless if you are interested in more than just Barbie . . . and his Barbie information is also great. This book has it all!

1. I just got started collecting, and this book has given me all the background information on what to expect. It's impossible for any book to keep up to date with the actual Beanies, but you won't find a better guide to the hobby itself.



2. Some many books on BBs are simply price lists or have a very limited period of usefulness. This one is different and will be my reference of choice. There is no way to predict what Ty will do, but this is the book that can track what has happened to date. The section on spotting counterfeits is invaluable and has saved me from making a couple of costly mistakes. I also got some chuckles from the creatively posed beanies in the nice color photos. Right after reading my own copy, I immediately sent a copy to my beanie-crazed young nieces.



3. This book is a good attempt at being different from all of the other Beanie Baby books and guides. However, it is not that easy to read because the authors grouped the Beanies according to genre, not alphabetically. Black and white pictures were not all that useful. Some background information (but not a lot) sets this book apart from the rest of the pack. However, it makes little attempt at saying what makes a particular beanie baby popular or unpopular or with whom. A good guide to starting out in the hobby but not useful if you are already immersed.



4. This is a great book about BEANIE BABIES! This is especialy good for beginner collectors. It teaches you special facts about the beanies and how to collect them. I think if you like beanie babies you should deffintly get this book!!!!!!!!



5. I really liked this book because it had all kinds of odd information. There is more than 5 blurbs of different facts per page. It has how to avoid counterfits,facts about each beanie, and more. It even has a checklist with pictures. This is definatly the best Beanie Baby book I own. It is perfect for begginers and experienced Beanie collectors.
