3 comments about 2007 U.S. Coin Digest: The Complete Guide to Current Market Values (Us Coin Digest).
- Got this to update my husbands old coin book as he buys and sells. He says it's great
- This is an excellent guide however not as well organized as R.S. Yeoman's the official Red Book a guide book of United States coins, otherwise the pictures, illustrations and description are superb.
- It was everything that I was looking for and received it in a few days. I am very happy with the whole process.

1 comments about Warman's Arts & Crafts Furniture Price Guide: Identification & Price Guide.
- This book has some fantastic examples of Craftsman and Arts & Crafts furnishings. Great to look at for reference material or styles that you may wish to emulate as a designer, furniture maker, or decorator. If you are a fan of the arts and crafts or Craftsman style, this book has plenty to drool over. The book has excellent photography and lots of examples of many different furnishings.
Why this book doesn't get 5 stars: Like many "price guides", much of what is contained in this book are period pieces in excellent condition and will rarely, if ever, be seen by the average person at an auction or flea market. The prices generally have the feel of the highest estimate available. On the low end are simple, framed mirrors for $500 to the high end Harvey Ellis bookcase/desk for $115,000. Don't buy this for a price guide unless you like paying for your furniture what the most expensive antiques dealer would like to charge you.

2 comments about Field Guide to Flint Arrowheads & Knives of the North American Indian: Identification & Values.
- The book contains excellent, black and white actual-size photographs of points and blades from the Eastern United States. The photos are labeled with the point name, approximate archeological period, typical states in which found, and approximate value to collectors.
There are only four pages of general information text. There are no descriptions of material types associated with the photos. For someone interested in information on point methodology, material types, or significant historical information, the book will be a major disappointment. Additionally, though the title is "Flint Arrowheads & Knives of the North American Indian" I could find only three pages containing point types found in the Northern Western United States. For Eastern US collectors, the photos may be of some interest, but for a novice artifact hunter out West, information in the book is virtually non-existent.
- Compared to other books in this field, this one is lacking for the avid collecter. It is a very good book for the beginner because it covers the most common types of points pretty well. The pictures and discriptions are as good as most in this field.

1 comments about Standard Catalog of United States Paper Money.
- The words "absolutely incredible" just doesn't do this book justice !!! This book is filled with breathe taking color pictures of U.S. Paper Currency and goes into great detail as to the value of each and every note anyone could possibly collect. This reference book not only covers the small-sized notes but also the collectible horse-blanket notes. This book is fast becoming my most favorite reference book in my library. This is a reference book just like the yearly revised Standard Guide to Small-Sized U.S. Paper Money books and when you combine both of these reference books in your private library you definitely can not go wrong !!!

5 comments about Fifty State Quarters Collector's Value Guide (Collector's Value Guides).
- After reading all of the opinions concerning this book, I thought I was receiving a collector's item for which I could store my state quarters. However, I was extremely shocked and disappointed when I received this book and found no coin holders. My main reason for purchasing the book was for the coin holders. I would have thought there was a mistake in shipping had I not received 2 from 2 different companies with the same missing item.
- I love this book. It will come in handy when my child has to do a report, on a certain state. We know of several people who would like to buy this book, but can't find it any where. Can anyone please help me, with some locations to find it? Every time I find it in the internet, it is out of stock. I live in Iowa. I need 5 more.
Thanks, Treasa Vander Hart
- I purchase this book over 2 years ago. All my friends asked me where did you purchase this book. I purcahsed it a Target. This book is very educational not only to me but my seven year old son. He is currently in the first grade and on different social studies homework assignment he needs information regarding the states. He always says, "Mom, I need to go to the Library!" I tell him, "No,everything that you need, is in your book!" I'm glad I bought the book when I saw it because the only way to purchase now, is on-line.
- My twin 8 year olds each have one of these books and they are terrific - both educational and fun. The children anticipate the arrival of each new coin and love to learn about the state/the design choices and also spend some time on the facts of the other states each time we use it.
- The book has a page for each state, plus a page for the new 'gold' dollar, and a few facts on the history of US coins. For each state, there is one die-cut coin holder (2 for the dollar coin); some of these holders required great effort to get the coin to fit. The book also has a few pages of games...although one must note the error on page 70, "...America RECEIVED its independence from Great Britain." In reality, America DECLARED its independence from Great Britain in 1776, fought for 6 years, then negotiated for two. Congress ratified the treaty to end the war in January 1784. I hope next edition of this book corrects this error.
