1. This book, Hagen-Renaker Through the Years, continues where the first book left off, with over 450 completly different photos. This book has a great section on how to identify Hagen-Renakers, how to date them, and how to recognize imitations. In addition, there are wonderful photos of one-of-a-kind and test pieces that have never been seen in public before. Also, several large color photos describing the variation in the colors of their popular horses. Not a revision of the first HR book, but a most-welcome sequel.

1. If you are a collector of Arts and Crafts Art pottery this book is not for you. Of the many collectible potteries for this movement (i.e. Rookwood, Grueby, Weller, Hull, Tiffany, Pewabic, Teco, Newcomb, Ohr, Chelsea, Fulper, Roseville and Van Briggle) only two (Roseville and Van Briggle) are included in this book.



2. My copy is dogg-earred, stained and marked-up. I've identified alot pieces of pottery with this trusty book I've always felt confident in it's information and price list. Please Mr. Duke another one.



3. The priceing seems to be below other publications. His listings are incomplete, not all items shown. The drawings are rough and are hard to make out.



4. I have used this guide for nearly a year and find the content very useful in my business. The histories of the various pottery firms are fascinating and help make sense to a very crowded collectable field. It's time for the price information to be updated and the book should be split into two volumes for easier handling and reading. The main dissapointment (and why the book lost two stars in my rating) is the lack of color photographs. Mr. Duke (and his publisher) would have a home run if they would include extensive color photographs of each line of each manufacturer to aid in identification. Yes, it would cost more, but the market would support it. Take a look at Huxford's Fiestaware guide as a good example.

1. As there are so many Blue Ridge patterns, I found that I had seven reference books to use in finding names for the patterns I owned. All of the books were useful. If you are serious collector, you will need this book. It is catagorized by the edge types of the plates.
   I am going to sell my copy which is NEW as I no longer need it.

1. I found this book to be very useful. It's very well organized and well written. An only suggestion for the next edition is to have glossier/brighter/clearer photographs.



2. I found this book to be logical and informative. The foundation of this book is based upon the chronilogical use of each mark. The patterns are then listed alphabetically within the time period that "mark" was used. Because of this book - all my freinds and colleages think of me as a "Early Noritake Expert" - I dont have the heart to tell them that I am not! I highly recommend this book to any and all collectors and/or dealers of Noritake!

I've recently started searching for and collecting English white ironstone pitchers, and have found my "treasures from the past" in this book. The book has helped me confirm/verify my "new treasures!" Great pictures, too!!

   This is the best book you can find on the subject of NAPCOS. It is not 100% complete, since so many thousand NAPCOS were issued since the mid 1900's; however, this book will give the collector a very nice basis on the subject.
   
   Excellent photos. Printed on nice paper!



2. This is a fantastic book for the Napco collector. It offers beautiful pictures of some of the best figurines ever made. If you're a fan of Napco, this book is a must have!



3. This is by far the best book on Napco figurines and has MANY of the hard to find items fully photographed. I have been looking for a book to help me on my Storybook collectables for years and this one is a dream come true! Also has birthday angels and many, many more! So much information all photographed and in beautiful full color! Kathleen Deel knows her Napco collectables and now I will too! I highly recommend this book!
