1 comments about Pop Culture With Character: A Look Inside Geppi's Entertainment Museum.
- This book contains beautiful pictures of the Geppi's Entertainment Museum collection, and although there are not large explanations, pop cultural icons are easily recognizable and it will take you down memory lane in a trip sure to warm your heart with nice memories of your childhood or even yearning for a time you didn't get to know, from the late 19th Century to the present.
A great illustrated reference for collectors, scholars and enthusiasts of all ages of comic-books, toys, movies and TV shows!

1 comments about Official Price Guide to Elvis Presley Records and Memorabilia.
- This book is filled with great information about Elvis' music and other memorabilia. I bought mine at Graceland in 1999 and after seeing the current prices, I'm glad I did. It is a treasure trove of trivia and details about the great variety of music that was published when Elvis was alive and in the years following his death.

1 comments about Christie's Rock and Pop Memorabilia.
- The demand for rock and pop memorabilia has created a diverse and eclectic market including original manuscripts and artwork by the musicians as well as mass-produced artefacts aimed at fans in the 1950s and 1960s that have become rare collector's items in the 21st century.
The various memorabilia are categorised by chapter as autographs, letters and manuscripts; recordings; guitars and other instruments; costumes; posters; printed artefacts; merchandising; awards and artwork. There is also a chapter titled Collector's Information and the book concludes with a bibliography and index. Christie's Rock Memorabilia is a superb guide to this fast growing collector's market. The book is richly illustrated with full colour photographs and the text contains interesting anecdotes on some of the artists and the specific items of memorabilia. Even if you're not a collector, this is a fascinating read and a great reference work. Music fans will love it.

1 comments about The Barbie Doll Boom: Identification and Values.
- The title was a little misleading..I was expecting a price guide from 1986 to 1999 but it only covers a few dolls and a lot of international makers..which we will see only a few in the US..The pictures took up most of the content and very little on the actual price guide...Disapointing to say the very least..about 500 pictures and not much else...

4 comments about The Beatles Memorabilia Price Guide.
- I was disappointed with this book due to the fact it needs to be updated from 1997. It only covers Beatles memorabilia, not records or albums. Didn't cover autographs. Only covers pricing for early Beatles items, nothing current or the Beatles as individual artists. If you need a price guide for early items and don't mind the book being outdated by 4 yrs, this is the book for you.
- This 225 page softbound volume (3rd edition) contains a wealth of information for the Beatles fan. It covers every type of Beatles collectible. Major topics range from Yellow Submarine, Pinback Buttons, Pennants and Books to Movie Items, Record Promo Items, Fan Club Items, Trading Cards and concert items. Scores of items are pictured in full color and black and white. Each item is described in detail. There is even info on reproductions and counterfeits. Everything is priced, although prices are from 1997. Every Beatles fan, collector or not will enjoy this great compendium. Add it to your collection.
- This 240 page, softbound 3rd edition has more than 400 full color and over 400 large, sharp photos covering more than 1,500 Beatles collectibles. Many of these items were not previously documented. There are more than 300 new items from the previous editions of this book. You'll find plenty of text accompanying the pictures, descriptions and values. Topics range from Yellow Submarine, pinback buttons, books, magazines, sheet music, record promotion, trading cards, to fan club items, concert tickets, original ads and how to identify repro and counterfeit items. A treasure trove of information and a joy to browse. Every Beatles fan will enjoy !
- This book is a must have if you collect Beatles memorobilia. It's the most complete guide I have ever seen.

5 comments about Peanuts: Home Collection--A Collector's Guide to Identification and Value.
- I'm not truly a peanuts collector per se...I don't pursue any item I can find depicting the Charles Schulz characters. But I am a big Peanuts fan and I do collect certain items such as holiday themed items and other odds and ends. There are a few other Peanuts guides out there but I think this is the best. It lists over 2000 items with over 1000 photographs. In somewhat unique fashion the author has categorized the items by the room in your home where you would find these pieces. In case that doesn't work there is a very thorough index.
The information provided is about as thorough as one could expect with the name of the maker, date, price, size, etc...In addition there is some good reference material noting other Peanuts collectors and clubs. Nicely done.
- I have been collecting Peanuts for over 15 years. This book is the first I reach for when deciding to purchase an item. The index thoroughly covers the book making it easy to get to an item right away. The book has a great coverage of Peanuts collectibles in a logically organized manner. The pictures are professionally taken and in full color. The item descriptions are helpful and concise with production dates, manufacturers, dimensions and price ranges.
Beyond being a pricing guide, this book also contains a tribute to Charles M. Schulz, an overview of how the evaluations of price were determined, collecting tips every Peanuts Collector should know, a collector's corner with photos of Peanuts Collectors' collections, Peanuts Collector's Clubs and activities, and more.
I highly recommend this book for every Peanuts Collector.
- I was greatly disappointed in the book. While it has lots of Great pictures and information, the editor, freddy Margoline has to let us know time and again how big her collection is or how she has personally met Mr. Schulz and stuff like that. I just never got a "Happiness is" feeling from this book like I got from the Andrea Podley and Derrick Bang book. That book (Peanuts Collectibles: Identification & Value Guide) really does give the "Happiness is a Peanuts Collection" feeling in the spirit that Sparky would appreciate. So if you can only get one book on Peanuts Collecting, get the Podley one - it has a "Happy" soul.
- This is the best Peanuts Collectors' book ever! It contains excellent pictures and the price values are right on target. These Peanuts collectibles are organized by where you might find them in your home, so it is user friendly. (i.e. Peanuts in the kitchen, bathroom, playroom etc.) It has been very helpful for shopping at auctions on the internet. I have even been able to find items by their discription when the seller has not provided a picture. This book is great and well worth its price.
- Freddi's book is a MUST HAVE for anyone collecting or dealing in Peanuts memorabilia. The layout of the book is fabulous and you only have to go to the index to find exactly which page you need to be on unlike other guides that give you a ballpark topic. You want bobbleheads, look up bobbleheads etc! The pricing is fair and not out of this world. Some folks like to charge outlandish prices for Peanuts items but this book gives you the real scoop on what something is worth, so don't be fooled by those who tell you an item is rare and worth $100 when this book will tell you it was made yesterday and on;y worth what was originally paid for it.
The pictures are great, lots of them and clear and concise, not to mention they show the item as it should be, in pristine condition. The Collectors Corner in the back of the book is great too because it gets you up close and personal with others who are just as crazy about Peanuts as you might be. You are not alone in your craziness! BUY THIS BOOK!

5 comments about Bulgari.
- What a beautiful book. I appreciated the jewellery before but this book is a lovely way to see how it is made, the desiging and the creating stages. The photographs alone make it a worthwhile investment. As a jewellery appreciator, I think it's a wonderful addition to my library. I don't get to see these pieces up close so this is a wonderful way to expand apreciation and understanding of jewellery.
- Any college-level art library strong in jewelry history needs BULGARI: a lavish, oversized and powerful collection of color photos and archival pictures that trace the unique Bulgari style which was born in Rome in 1884. The book first appeared in 1996: its updated edition represents an extensive revision and reflects newly-discovered historical material and historical facts on the Bulgari firm, making it a top pick.

- I was pleasently surprised when I recieved this book. When I looked over the discription of the book I thought I'd enjoy it but didn't know just how much until it came. The images are beautiful, full color and the discriptions are well done. This book gives a great overview of the design house Bulgari. I would recommind this book to anyone interested in learning about Bulgari or if you are just a lover of beautiful jewelry.
- This is probably the best book of jewelry I own. I can't recommend it enough.
- I have been interested in the science of jewelry for 40 years, and am a metalsmith as well. I have been collecting books for many years, and this is one of the best. In addition to having wonderful color photographs, space has been given to showing the back of major pieces, to show construction and craftsmanship. The book is well organized to show the progression of design by the house of Bvlgari, from beginning to current day. If you are serious about jewelry, this book will provide many hours of enjoyment, and will be an excellent reference book for style research.

5 comments about McDonald's Collectibles: Happy Meal Toys and Memorabilia 1970 to 1997.
- I purchased this book in hopes of finding many of the toys that I collected when I was a child. Many of the toys I have are from the early 1980's. A cursory glance did not show many toys before 1988. Astrosniks weren't even included, and they were quite popular! I'll be searching for a book that focuses on toys from the 1980's. If you're looking for a book that has toys from the early days, this is not the book for you.
- This is one of the best McDonald's collectibles books I've seen! This book includes detailed color pictures, very accurate descriptions, release dates, and an estimated value for a wide variety of McDonald's figures including premuims released in the United States and Internationally. A very thorough and informative guide to McDonald's fast food toys!
- I love this book. I looked at this book in a bookstore. This books has all the toys from 1970 to 1997. I aslo love eating at McDonalds.
- Good book, although they could devote a whole volume to Grimace
- This book is for all, not just those who collect McDonald's memorabilia. My son loves to look at all the pictures and it is excellent to see all the different sets of toys, cause you can never usually get all the happy meal toys of a series. I highly recommend it!!!

5 comments about More Pez for Collectors (Schiffer Book for Collectors).
- Once again Mr. Geary has out done himself. Just when you thought nothing else could be said about PEZ, Geary comes along with a book that is sure to be a hit with the true collectors. 10 STARS if It was possible.
- This book is the ultimate guide to pez collecting. Very informative and helpful for anyone collecting dispensers. If you don't like this book you probably can't read anyway. Must Have.
- Don't waste money on this book. It doesn't even deserve one star
- You you want pictures and prices. This is your first book to buy. The book shows variations of diffferent Pez. The only problem the prices are old. The sale of Pez is exploding and the prices are going up and up, but this book will get you started.
- This book includes mainly pictures and has more information regarding promotional materials, packaging, and accessories (t-shirts, etc.) than actual dispensers. Some information is slightly misleading but Pez afficianados will have little trouble enjoying what Geary has to offer here. Recommended only if you also have the first book Geary wrote ("Pez Collectables")
