1. I am late on reviewing this book but had to comment. I LOVE this book. Very goog work and research! Great photography! It's so nice to see someone put this much effort in a Monkees collectible book. My only complaint is the records are not valued correctly. We need a Monkees record collecting guide. If not for values, just to see the great world wide covers of the albums, single and EP's that differ from country to country.

   Marty Eck ( Is that his real name?)bought most of the items in this book. Since most of us could never afford such a collection or FIND some of these gems, this is a great coffee table book. Again with putting values on collectibles, any kinds, is a matter of supply and demand.

   To me, Ebay is where I usually can find recent values. Being a Monkees record collector, I am thinking of joining forces with a major colector in the UK to create the book I always wanted. This book is a great asset to anyone's Monkees collection! Buy it!




2. I love this book it has everything you need to know what is very valuable. There's a lot of interesting stuff in it that was very popular and sold very well back then when the Monkees were quite hot......So I also consider this book a classic because it has so much information in it I just love it......

5. I also know the Author very well and I am glad that he finally put out the one and only Monkees Price guide. I do recommend it. I have bought stuff from the author personally and he really know this stuff.

1. This book is primarily a picture book with short decriptions that gives a fascinating look at the world's most famous theme park before it was a park. It's filled with black and white photos of Walt Disney's Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. as it was being constructed along with a few after its opening. The photographer, Mel Kirkpatrick, was given unfettered access through the entire construction of the park and he captured some amazing and unique photos. You'll see Disneyland go from orange tress and mounds of dirt being moved around, right through various stages of construction for some of the famous landmarks such as Sleeping Beauty's Castle and Main Street USA. Some superb aerial shots are included. The captions for the pictures are short and informative with one or two errors, which unless you're a true Disneyland buff you won't notice. For anyone who has ever been to Disneyland and felt the "magic", this is great look into how that magic was constructed.

1. This is his latest Coca Cola pricing guide. All pictures are in color, unlike his big book that mixes color and b&w photos. It has helped me with my large CC colection but is far from being as complete as is his 11th volume. It is a good guide. BB

1. I also must agree with R. Rice. I have an extensive M&Ms collection. This book was woefully lacking in the range of products that are available to even the basic/novice collector. The pricing also does not reflect the current market.



2. I oredered this book from Amazon.com to get an idea of what my own M&M collection is worth. I chose this book, particularly, because it had the most recent published date and thought it would have the most accurate information. Boy was I disappointed! This book, although more than 100 pages, barely touched on the number of M&M items out there. I have over 100 M&M items in my collection, and maybe 5 were listed in the book. The M&M dispensers, which are a big part of collector's items was barely touched on. I would not recommend anyone waste his/her time purchasing a book that is not comprehensive enough to cover even a small collection.

1. This beautiful 352 page identification and value guide has been updated with 1999 prices. It contains over 2,300 full color, large, sharp photos. Provides collector's tips, the McDonald's Story, the early days and more history. Nearly every type of McDonald collectible is included. Every category is clearly described. A valuable reference work that will be referred to often !



2. Why not have McDonald's have a substitute for a value meal instead of french fries, like your potatoe pancake. Have your express in Hempstead, Nassau County, Long Island, New York, have thick or milk shakes, like you do hot and cold drinks. PLEASE GIVE TO MCDONALD'S

4. this book contains not just Happy Meals from the beginnings of McD, but all other types of McD collectibles like tableware, clothing, Christmas things, sports cars & cards, etc. etc.



5. What luck to run accross this wonderful guide the first time searching for such a book. This is a very large book, with color pictures of all type of McDonald's collectibles-in addition to all the happy meal toys. It also provides a facinating history of how the business got started along with pictures of the founders and the 1st restaurants, also included are pictures and values of memorabilia such as uniforms, paper french fry bags and the large ride on toys and Ronald figures used inside the restaurants. This books gets a A+ from me.

1. I thought this would be a book I couldn't live without. Thankfully, I didn't pay a lot for it, but I NEVER refer to it. Yes, it's got nice big pix of the usual trays, but the vast majority of CC trays?...you won't find 'em here. Precious little content, unlike the other CC trays book out there, which blows this one out of the water.

   If you can pick this one up for a handful of dollars or less, buy it. But don't expect much for your money.
