5. I have Joe Caro's first Hopalong Cassidy Collectibles book, plus his little known updated book.Joe's new Hopalong Cassidy Collectibles book has all the contents of the first two plus more. The merchandise Value guide on each collectible(original, reproduction and some fantasy items) gives the advanced and novice collector a price spread that's consistent with the Hoppy collecting market. With the collectibles being pictured in color, it gives the serious collector detail and brings out visual differences, in the many variations, that are being discovered by collectors, everyday. This book covers every catagory of Hopalong Cassidy collectibles so thoroughly and with such enthusiasm, by the author, that after an hour or so, of absorbing every page, imagining I was a kid again I found myself wanting to go out and start collecting Hoppy, as soon as I put the book down.

2. Beautifully illustrated and indexed a true "must have" for all Marilyn Monroe "afficionadoes" and serious collectors as well.
   I truly enjoyed perusing through this book and appreciated how Mr. Kidder gave a thorough "overview" of Miss Monroe's career, "photo modeling" thru her "starlet" years thru her very brief "super stardom". The author also presents a biographical overview of the Stars'life. All in all, really loved this book. Of notable mention,Mr. Kidder's first book, (Marilyn Monroe Collectibles: A Comprehensive Guide to the Memorabilia of an American Legend), co-authored by George Zeno, was their first as well as successful effort on this subject.

This author did a fantastic job creating this price guide for all the Shirley fans in the world who just can't get enough! It has been quite a while since an author has done a new Shirley price guide and it was much needed. But this Author's version was much different than the other price guides as it shows everything and anything that is out there...old and new! 4. I just loved both books on Shirley Temple!

   Volume 2 has even more than volume 1 as far as pictures and memorabilia goes. I loved the pictures with the people she starred with in her movies ( it brought back fond memories from my childhood.
   More people should be interested in Shirley, it is a great subject for children-even today!
   We buy the videos for our grandkids.

1. Luis de Berniere's novel was very good and its film was even better. I was so impressed by the film that I wanted to remember it long after I have seen it. Steve Clark's book is full of wonderful pictures as well as detailed information about the cast, the story, the scenery, the music, the historical background and the making of the film. Nicolas Cage and P.Cruz fans can find their various pictures in the book. For those who have liked the film, this is a very good book to own. Although we can find most books in our stores, it would probably be impossible to find this specific book, so thanks to Amazon.com for letting me have it.



2. I had watched 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin' twice and liked it very much because of the romance, the beautiful scenery, the music, the historical facts and the wonderful acting of Nicolas Cage. I am very happy to have this book because I want to remember this film long after I have seen it. The pictures in the book are very nice and it was also enjoyable to read about all the details about the making of this film. N.Cage and P.Cruz fans can find their numerous pictures in this book.
