1. The book has different figurines than book one. This makes it a must have in addition to the first book! As a collector I have looked through this book hundreds of times and am very glad I purchased it.

1. This is an inspirational book, from the cover shot of Tiptoe Through the Tulips through the painted cars, the assemblage cars, and the more mutated vehicles. Art Cars are a strangely friendly version of Folk Art. Don't they put a smile onto your face when you see one driving past?
   
   The earlier Harrod Blank book, Wild Wheels, ties in with the Wild Wheels movie on art cars, and this one is a continuation of that book with newer art cars and some helpful construction tips for your own art car.



2. All that have seen my copy have loved it. Hardly anyone could view this book and not smile. Too bad it's now gone out of print, but there are other wonderful books and a brand new movie by Harrod Blank.



3. One of the most joyous picture books ever published. Put a copy on your coffee table at home or your desk at work, then sit back and wait for your visitors to start chortling. It's impossible to look at just one page!



4. I visited my niece in Seattle, and she KNOWS one of the art car owners, so showed me the book. What fun!!! I am buying it today!



5. This book is just a blast -- it is so fun and inspirational. It made me happy that I own a crappy old car, because now I can run out and paint it without worrying about the resale value.

1. i was/am looking for an indepth price and value guide. this book is pretty but not complete at all. i reccommend the Official Lladro Collection Identification Catalog and Price Guide by Dr. Glenn Johnson for serious collectors. If you can find it! Try Baron Rolen Jewelers in Stone Mtn. Ga.



2. Kudos to Peggy Whiteneck for a book that can be enjoyed by collectors and non-collectors alike! The author's knowledge of and respect for this wonderful artwork is apparent on every page. I have been collecting Lladro for many years, and I learned some interesting and useful things in reading this book. I read it from cover to cover on the very first day I brought it home, and have referred to it frequently since then.

   This book is a thoroughly researched, beautifully photographed, well-organized and thoughtful treatment of the subject. It is a must for anyone who enjoys the beauty and artistry of Lladro! I hope this is only the beginning for Peggy!




3. This is a brand new, 192 page, year 2001 volume with more than 250 super, full color, large, sharp photos. There are over 3,000 listings to help you identify the items. There's plenty of text, and complete item discriptions. There is even information on care and cleaning of Lladro. Information on restorations is provided and when it is worth doing. Current price ranges are shown. Lladro fans will surely enjoy this work. A very worthwhile addition to your collectibles library.



4. I do not collect anything. (Except maybe paid electric bills, and family pictures.) I have nothing against those who do, I just never have. This book was referred to me by an acquaintance. And you know what, this is really interesting! This book is surprisingly easy to read, informative and actually enjoyable. It shows a whole world, revealing in the most beautiful manner subtle aspects of an art which would easily escape those, like I, without a trained eye. It's obvious the author's experienced. I'd like another book by her. That's a lot for a non-collector!



5. At last!! A book that gives great details on LLADRO. Not only the primary market but the secondary as well. Hats off to Peggy for finally getting "THE HAMMER" some recognition. We have been collecting LLADRO for over 15 years, have visited Valencia twice, and have over 600 pieces - including every clown and amost every harleguin. Most have been purchased on the secondary market. Janet Hammer is the best. I'm glad to see LLADRO has put their stamp of approval on this book, along with some of the premier collectors, by providing pictures and data. A great gift for Christmas. Hopefully this is just the first of many. Getting any kind of old info on LLADRO is difficult at best.

1. This book is a splendid, colourful celebration of love and friendship between boys. The Author's style is very pleasant and captivating. Loved it!



2. Is not what I expectd. And what I expected was a better drawn manga. A much better buy, if you're into men cartoons is definitely G-Men by Glen Hanson. Go get it!

1. This book left me a bit cold. Great colors and all, but the guys here are so self-centered and self-absorbed, and I couldn't feel they could tell me something. Much better Hanson in Chelsea Boys, and if you're looking for beautiful boys with feeling, look at Joe Phillips' boys!



2. Since I bought this book, I have bought all Glen's publications. He's got a great way to portray the Gay Lifestyle. Very respectful and creative, not to mention the amazing drawings. I recommend buying anything "Glen Hanson".



3. Sometimes less is more and with this book. It is totally, great photo's from beginning to end some of them revealing and some of them not so much. But this is for the better each photo has something offer just about anybody. After checking out G-man, i'm wanting more of this in spades.



4. Glen Hanson has produced so much artwork of amazing quality. This latest project is just a wonderful as all the rest, interesting, beautiful, unusual - you have to get this book!
