I could not find this book at my local book stores, shopped the net and found www limogesantiques com and www collectinglimoges com and found Debby DuBay's fantastic reference books on Limoges. It had all of the marks and I found the back stamp I was looking for. This book is a must.

I have inhereited many pieces of Limoges and her books helped me identify the factory, the marks, and to date each piece. I highly recommend LIVING WITH LIMOGES it is the best book on the market - except for DuBay's ANTIQUE LIMOGES AT HOME and COllecting Hand Painted Limoges Porcelain Boxes to Vases.

1. A remarkable achievement. The included audio CD is worth the purchase price alone! As a self-taught potter, I particularly appreciate this book. Of the hundreds of items I've purchased through Amazon, this is the first time I've felt really compelled to offer a review. Anyone even marginally serious about making pottery on the wheel or better understanding its Southern roots in the United States will benefit greatly by reading this book and listening to the candid interviews of humble rural craftspeople who did this work simply because they discovered its value and it became their life. This is a wonderful book, and Mr. Mack has captured some real wisdom here that now will be available for many generations to come.

1. As a student, I found this book to be the greatest selection of current artists and techniques in ceramics today. Great color illustrations and glaze and firing information is included. Can't wait for the second one! A true coffee table book. This does not belong on a shelf, The Best of Pottery belongs in the studio!



2. I look through this book every night and see different things I want to try each time. Lot's of unique and great photos of ceramic art. Not a how to, but a pictorial showing the beauty and fun of ceramics.

1. Talk about 'Judging a book by it's cover', DON'T. Out of all the photo's on this book, the best looking one is on the cover of this book. This photo's of this girls in this book were probably taken at a run down W****House which most of this women are not natural beauties. Some photo's on this book were badly taken and really does not describe the name of this book at all. I bought this book to see some natural beautiful LEGS on women, but the majority on this photo's were women with split teeth, fat elephant legs, and some of this women had minor bruises on their legs which the photographer tried to hide by having this women covered there bruises with black stockings. Again, 50% of this book has great photo's of good looking women, but if you want to see photo's of womens "LEGS" in this book, I would NOT recommend you to buy this book at all.



2. as a model I thought this book would be full of wonderful outstanding photos like the cover shot In my opinion the models and the photography wasnt that great :(



3. I throughly Enjoyed this Book !!!!!!!!!!!! Great Cover Pic !!!!!!!!! Being a Big Fan of Womens' Shapely Legs, especially when Covered in Nylons and wearing heels, this was a Great Book!!!!!!!!! Lots and lots of Pics of Pretty Ladies wearing Pantyhose, Stockings, Heels,barefoot and Bare-legged. A Must Read for All the Leg-Men and Nylon Guys out there.



4. This book contains professional nude/seminude photographs, primarily of homely and 'sturdy' looking models. The cover represents about ten percent of the book's content.



5. I've purchased much better photo books for alot less money. If you like pantyhose, stockings and garters, you'll love this book. If you like nude bare legs, you'll hate it. Also has some chunky and not at all attractive models.

Even if you don't have any specific questions, this book will sure give you some ideas that will keep those creative juices flowing at an insane rate. This is a LIFETIME book. The only reason you will ever get another copy is because you WILL keep coming back for more and more ideas until all the pages are covered in clay!
