1. Mrs. Furth is a wellknown photographer of horses. She visited worldwide the most important tournaments to publish this very nice fotobook, to let us have a view infront of and behind the polo grounds. Very good eye for the right moment.
   
   She presents some professional umpires and let speak important people as Howard Hipwood (GB) und Urs Schwarzenbach (CH) about the best player at the moment on earth Adolfito Cambiaso.
   Reporting about the newcomer familydynasties in Polo not always Heguy`s and Pieres.

1. I think that this is a wonderful book that provides a fun and informative way to learn about the Presidents and their horses. I used this book with my 2nd grade homeschooler, and it really kept his attention. I would recommend this book for anyone interested in learning neat facts, or someone who is in the educational industry, and of course all of you horse lovers!



2. Really a fun book to read. I like that you can pick it up and turn to almost any page and read a short story about one of our presidents and their horse. This book is not only entertaining it is educational and I feel a great book for horse lovers of all ages.



3. Horses of the Presidents by Leah C. Taylor is a fascinating book about how the horse helped to shape America. Taylor has a brief chapter on each of the Presidents from George Washington to George W. Bush and shows photographs and illustrations of them with horses. The stories and anecdotes are personal and folksey and make the Presidents seem like your friends through her tales of their love of their horses . In many of these stories we understand how important the horse was as a figure in American history. Did you know that you can be arrested for speeding when riding a horse through Washington, DC? Read the book to discover which President actually received a speeding ticket for this!

1. This book was very helpful. It demonstrated many different ways or wrapping, trailering, braiding, ect. It covers showing for english, western, and halter. You learn some good tricks, and tech. The only thing I missed, was that it didn't cover very much in the way of actually showing in halter. Then again, it was only intended to cover how to prepare for stuff, and it really goes beyond that.
   I recommend it to anyone who wants to know diff. ways to braid, leg wrap, and other things.



2. I wish I'd known about this book 20 years ago! It contains not only information directly related to fitting and showing the horse, but also has lots of other valuable information in it for horse owners in general and those with show aspirations in particular.

4. Fitting and Showing the Halter Horse is a good book the for the begginer to advanced showmanship/Halter exibitor. It shows you the finer points of what the judge is looking for in you and your horse. I recomend this book if you have just started showing a horse. It realy helps you out in what equiptment to by, grooming tips, what to do when you get into the ring and much, much more!!!!
