1. entiendo la crítica efectuada pero es que todos nos podemos equivocar alguna vez al comprar un libro: en el caso de Layayu, es lógico que una persona que es fan de "sexy-romance stories" no pertenezca al público objetivo de Neus Arqués y el libro se le caiga de las manos.
   yo, por el contrario, creo que "Una mujer como tu" es entretenido, trata temas de actualidad en un tono ágil y desenfadado, y propone reflexiones lúcidas sobre los dilemas a los que nos enfrentamos muchas de nosotras.



2. Compré este libro, tomando en consideración las dos reseñas que habían del mismo las cuales le daban 5 estrellas al texto. Mayormente compro libros en inglés, porque estudié literatura en inglés, pero quería ver si este libro era tan bueno como lo "vendían". Lamentablemente el libro está tan mal escrito--o mal traducido--que no pasé del primer capítulo. Por nada del mundo recomendaría este libro a nadie, pues aunque es barato, es una perdida de dinero y de tiempo.



3. Si eres una mujer que no esta conforme con su vida y ve que todos a su alrededor tiene todo bien formado... te encantara este libro. Te pierdes en cada historia desenlazada.



4. Una mujer como tu presenta con cariño y humor cuatro protagonistas que enfrentan los retos de hoy. Un libro muy divertido de leer.

I have the two versions of this book Spanish and English, I got it in Spanish so it will be better for my Husband to understand and OMG what a disaster...:( It is so badly translated that its even embarrassing specially when the Author is spanish parlance. It is hard to read in the first language of the book Author....sad.



2. Generally speaking, this is a good book for dog owners; I just would've liked it better if it had more practical tips and less theory...



3. A real genius in his topic. A new approach, more real and intelligent. Easier to understand your dog from a dog's view.
   Excellent. Must have. Great to have it in Spanish.

1. Un libro excelente, no defraudará al cultivador novel ni al experto. Un poco más centrado en el cultivo de interior, pero tiene apartados de todo. Las fotografías son una ayuda muy buena, si estás pensando en comprarlo, no lo dudes y hazlo

1. My husband's first language is Spanish and this book was really helpful when we were working on a kitchen renovation project. We had a new sink installed so we replaced drains, faucet, disposall, and undersink pipes, and it was great for my husband to have this to refer to. The instructions are very clear (according to my husband) and there are lots of relevant photos. The new disposall came with installation instructions in Spanish, but this book gave better info.

1. The book is beautiful and the patterns are great inspiration but be aware of the following:
   - The images in the book are black and white
   - The CD-ROM includes images only in TIF, GIF, and PCT only (no .ai)
   - The license in the book notes that any commercial use is not allowed unless Pepin Press is contacted (buying the book only allows personal usage).



2. The best thing about all the books from Agile Rabbit Press are the CD-ROMs. They come with full 1200 dpi scans (huge) of the images in the books! This is an excellent source of quality art!
   
   Anyone 12 and older who has a copy of something like photoshop can use the magic of "click+alt+shift+backspace" to magically change the black and white images to whatever colour your heart desires.
   
   With this book you could make your own designs without having to recreate an old fashioned Japanese pattern by hand!



3. This book is a wonderful resource for graphic designers. It has an incredible array of different black and white designs and comes with a cd-rom for using them on the computer. Yes, it has no color, but with just about any graphics program you can change that. I've even used a few for background elements in artwork or for the inspiration for the designs of kimonos I've drawn. This is not a picture book, but a look into japanese graphic patterns. Very lovely.



4. I guess I shouldn't have assumed that the patterns in the book were printed in color, even though the cover of the book sure is colorful. This book is fine if you are looking for black and white images. But, be warned, there's no color in the book other than on its cover.

5 comments about René's Bouquets: A Guide to Euro-Style Hand-Tied Bouquets (English and Spanish Edition).

1. I felt there were some good tips for designers here. I would not waste the money on hardcover. The format is similar to that of coffee table books. Oversized photos and little text (text is in English and Spanish)
   Nice to have for reference ,however.



2. I work as a flower designed specially with brides bouquets. It is a beautiful book with gorgeous photos, but the bouquets presented are mainly conventional. If you are looking for inspiration and new ideas on bouquets, I would not say this is the book for you.



3. This is a coffee table book. It is gorgeous, but has very little in the way of instruction. I was looking for a how-to book for creating European style bouquets. There is almost no discussion of tools, supplies and technique. There is a short description of each gorgeous bouquet, but no details as to how it was created. It is a beautiful book but not very useful.



4. In the book, Rene gives step by step instructions on how to create a European inspired hand-tied bouquet. We were able to follow the instructions and create fantastic bouquets based on Rene's advice. The photographs are beautiful.



5. I had the pleasure of seeing Rene give a talk in Houston to our group of "grocery store florists"....a very under-rated group of talented folks in our industry....He treated us as professionals!! What a wonderful talk and what a wonderful teacher and person!! His book is absolutely beautiful and very inspiring; His wonderful design talent shows in every detail....Many thanks to Rene for his time and the kind way he treated our group!! We all really appreciated the way he spoke to us as designers with something to contribute to our industry!
