4 comments about Warman's Carnival Glass: Identification & Price Guide.
- Hundreds of classic and popular glass patterns, more than 5,000 prices, and headline production pieces pack Warman's Carnival Glass: an identification and price guide key to understanding Warman colors, forms, identifying characteristics, and values. Each piece receives a color photo paired with information on common reproductions, making for an excellent and solid reference work collectors will find easy to consult.

- Beautiful colorful photos. Very easy to read and identify patterns. SO MUCH TO LOOK AT!!!
- Another excellent identification book by Ellen T. Schroy. It is well organized and the beautiful color pictures are clear for pattern identification. She identifies the maker, the colors which were produce, the known forms, the identifying characteristics, and the prices at the time the book was written. There is a section showing and describing the colors of carnival glass, and an explanation of how to determine the color of carnival glass. Also included in the book is a time line and information about each glass company during the Carnival Glass era. This book is one of the best for identifying pieces of carnival glass. I use it more than any of my other books. It is my favorite! I highly recommend it to every beginning collector!
- Great service book is in excellent condition.
Thanks so much.

2 comments about 400 Trademarks on Glass.
- I am returning this worthless book. Large amount of totally false, inaccurate information. Most marks displayed are bizarre, seldom -- if ever -- seen, and many are totally incorrect. Book not worth five cents!!!!!
- This book was really interesting and gave me a better understanding about how the glass business works.

3 comments about Evers' Standard Cut Glass Value Guide.
- I wasnt really impressed with this book.
I was because I am an amature when it comes to cut glass. I was disapointed because the pictures are like drawings, not actual pictures.
I am happy however, because there is such a book on the market. the patterns are easy to compare and see whats what.
- Of all the books on cut glass this is about the worst. The only good thing about it is the pieces are ordered by style (bowl, goblet, plate, etc.). The line drawings are only mediocre. There are very, very few pieces and manufacturers in it (a couple hundred).
Save your money, look elsewhere.
- This book is great. I only wish the pictures were real pictures and not just drawings. I know it would be hard to find and publish all the the patterns, but in her next book, maybe she could print actual pictures of what she can find. I'd pay more for a bigger book.

5 comments about Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass: Identification & Values (Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass).
- Excellent reference guide. I am totally happy with the book and wish more books where as complete.
- great book! i'm just starting glass collecting and doing most of my buying on ebay. this has been such a great guide for me. more often than not if i look up an item i find it in this book. a really nice collection of pieces.
- The fourth edition of Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile's Standard Encyclopedia Of Opalescent Glass updates identification and values and is a recommended reference pick for any library serious about glass collecting. Color photos of the glass pieces abound and pack in plenty of detail.
- Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile has put together a superb
book on Victorian opalescent glass that covers a large amount of victorian opalescent glass made by glass manufactures such as Dugan, Northwood, Jefferson, Buckeye, Albany, etc., that was made during the Victorian Era (1890's to 1910's). This book shows the different lines manufacture by the above glass makers and is very informative and an great reference for those who are novices to the experts. This book is a must, for those who collect victorian opalescent glass. No opalescent glass collector should be without this book. If you collect victorian opalescent glass, you should definitely purchase this book.
- Outstanding beautiful volume with 240 pages featuring full true-to-life color photos of these glass collectibles. Adjacent to each photo is an informative paragraph about the item. Concise and easy to use. The price guide is at the end of the book, keeping the body of the book clutter-free. Everyone interested in this collectible will enjoy owning and using this book.

2 comments about Nature Designs Stained Glass Pattern Book (Dover Pictorial Archive Series).
- The designs are very good. The problem I see with this book is there no finished designs or color guides. If you are new to stained glass it could be difficult to visualize a finished design. But all in all a good design book.
- I found some very interesting nature patterns in this book, but almost a fifth of the book contained designs (at least 12) which I found unrecognizable as anything belonging to nature or anything else. If you are into these abstract designs, then this is an added bonus. I was disappointed and would rather have had traditional nature designs as pictured on the cover.

2 comments about Lancaster Glass Company, 1908-1937: Identification & Value Guid4e (Identification & Values (Collector Books)).
- Item arrived at the same time as items ordered directly from Amazon; item was exactly as advertised. Entire transaction was excellent.
- If you like depression era glass, and particularly Lancaster glass, you'll enjoy the pics and info in this book. It's fun just to pick up and review the pictures and helpful if you wish to purchase any Lancaster glass. If you are selling a piece of glass, you should know that on some items you will probably get about half of what they are listed for in these types of books.
