   Regardless of this fact I am constantly referring to it. Well presented and good information.



2. I was so pleased with this book. I am purchasing four more copies for my daughter and nieces. We are all new perfume bottle collectors, and this is just the book we needed to further our education in the field of perfume bottle collecting. "A GREAT BOOK BY A TALENTED AUTHOR."I hope to see more books from Ms. Flanagan in the future.



3. WOW!! Just what was needed, a general, broadbased collector book for perfume bottle collectors. This book is interesting, accurate, educational, and shows so many bottles for identification. The chapter on the Bacorn Bottles is superb, and greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend this book more highly than a five star*****



4. What a wonderful, beautifully designed book!! It is refreshing to see coverage of ordinary bottles for the new collector and many masterpieces from the past. This broad based coverage by the author is just what was needed for the perfume bottle collecting world. Lost bottles are introduced, Sandwich masterpiece bottles are shown in all their glory. Besides coverage of many "never before shown bottles," the author seeks to educate and spark interest in the wonderful world of collecting perfume bottles



5. I'm returning this book in disgust. It contains low end examples that even the newest perfume bottle collector would be bored by. In addition, some of it is poorly resaerched and some is just plain WRONG. Even the physical quality of the book is off.. the pages are strangely thin and floppy. Spend the extra money and buy a book by Jackie Jones North or the Lefkowiths...you'll find this book to be neither a good resource nor a good read.

1. Marlena Toohey starts her book with a history of black glass. She numbers each item giving a short description of each one including the maker and years produced, if known. The book is primarily pictures, which I love. Marlena personally signed my book and included an up to date price guide. I consider this one of my best buys. I was thrilled when she wrote the sequel, A Collector's Guide to Black Glass II. Any collector would enjoy these books.

Authors James Measell and Berry Wiggins have done an excellent job with this book.Many quality,color pictures.Lots of reprints of original glass companys ads.This book has proven very valuable in the identification of many pieces by many glass companys.The price guide is very helpful as well. This book covers many bases left untouched by other authors.It would be very useful information for any glass collector.Fun and educational reading for all of Art Deco and Depression glass enthusiast's.Add this one to your Library for sure!

1. A beautiful book but far from complete. I was shocked to see that Ingrid glass was completely ignored, only because it isn't signed by the manufacturer and some pieces are currently still made. Many other Bohemian manufacturers are also overlooked. You'll surely see some pieces you never knew existed though. Unfortunately not the difinitive resource you'd hope for. Maybe a book 3 is in order.
