It is because our favorite pugs is very much filled with the beautiful photograph.And,it is explained in detail, the history about pug as well is very helpful. A sentence is easy and polite, too. It is the book which recommends the thing of pug to the person who likes it in the same way as For The Love of Pugs.

2. I love this book. A longtime fan of odd tarots, this is one of my favorites -- my MOST favorite being Kipling West's Halloween Tarot. The Tarot For Cats' art is more studied and careful than some of West's more vivid monsters and demons, but it is just beautiful. Sometimes even more beautiful. I love the faces of the cats -- there is so much depth there! Fans of cats and of the Tarot will love this. Bring it back into print!



3. Certainly not Regen Dennis and Kipling West, creators of the purrfectly delightful "Tarot for Cats." There have been hundreds of Tarot decks over the past decades, some serious and usable, and some not -- this one is outside the (litter)box! You can certainly use the deck for real Tarot readings if you are familiar with the Major Arcana meanings, but the sheer giggle-factor of the book and the card designs hold up on their own. And if you own cats (as I do), you will find yourself shaking your head in amazement at just how accurately Dennis and West translate cat-thought into this charming effort!

   Extra kudos for the Maine Coon as the Emperor. Oswald, my twenty-pound version, agreed completely -- and promptly napped on the card.

1. My hat goes off to Dawn Capp for her dedication to helping this breed and for writing this book. This book is perfect for handing out to your neighbors (who think "pit bull" equals "vicious man killer" due to years of being bombarded by the bias media propaganda and misinformation) when you bring home your new Bulldog pup or rescue dog. It is informative and to the point so it is a quick read that holds your interest. It really hits home on how persecuted these poor animals are, and paints a true picture of how wonderful these dogs really are. This is a must have for any breed advocate or new Pit Bull owner to help pave the way to a more favorable public image of our breed.

1. If you can find a copy of this fine little book, get it! It is amazing how so many of the things written in this book about how the media and some of the public views the APBT back in 1936 is not much different than now. There are stories by other big dog men of the day also in this book. Brief info on dog selection, breeding, and conditioning are also covered. There are some interesting ads from the era at the back of the book. I would very much like to see a reprint of this book done, I would buy another copy!!!

1. This book is awesome! Does not go indepth, but has ALL the pertinent information related to specific diseases/clinical signs (definitions, Physiology, symptoms, lab work, treatment, follow up care)all on one page! A VERY useful book so far, especially from a tech's point of view!



2. Just replaced my 3rd edition, the 4th addition is a bit better has some new information, doseages for new drugs and a CD with Client education handouts.



3. Whenever I encounter a new disease, or need to refresh my memory about one I haven't seen lately, I reach for this book first. I find it to be concise, informative, and useful. While other medical texts make for good fireside or bedtime reading, this one cuts to the chase, and is useful in the midst of a busy veterinary schedule.
   I use this book as my "nerd book", jotting notes in the margins when I learn something new about a disease from reading journals. Overall I am quite impressed at how up-to-date and complete the information is vis-a-vis JAVMA, the Compendium for Continuing Education, etc. I also appreciate that this book comes out in new additions often enough to keep up with the rapid changes in veterinary medicine.

5. I got this book a couple of years ago on the advice of my mentor. This book has really helped me out in school(esp. in my Problem-Based Learning classes). It is pretty easy to understand, is very concise, and it includes many commmon and uncommon diseases of small animals. However, not all information about specific diseases is included. This resource should just be used as a starting point. The formulary is useful, as is the section about diagnostic test results. I just wish they would come out with a 5-Minute Consult-Exotics Edition

1. The author of this book spends more time promoting himself and trying to make himself look smarter than he obviously is. I was expecting an educational but heartwarming book of lost loved pets but found myself dredging thru the first chapter, praying for something.I found this to be a hard read. Very self serving for the author and nothing else.



2. This talked more about how to hunt ghosts than actual animal encounters. I was expecting more stories about actual animal encounters. Talked about the different types of ghosts and big foot, ghosts in history and around the world. I was looking more for pet encounters when I bought this book. There are a few in here but not as many as I would have liked/thought there would be. Don't recommend if you are looking for pet stories, comfort, etc. Recommended more for ghost hunting techniques, explanations of ghost terms, etc. Author is a ghost hunter (paranormal researcher).

5. I am very disappointed with this dull and boring book. I just lost my dog and I thought reading this book would have made me feel a little better. It just makes me mad that I spent money on it.
