2. As a designer, I am often at a loss to find a handbook that in clear enginering language presents the solutions to my design problems. I have found 'The Handbook of Acrylics for Submersibles, Hyperbaric Chambers and Aquaria' by Dr J D Stachiw to be such a publication. It truly explains in plain language all the criteria affecting the design of acrylic pressure resistant structural components. I use it frequently.

1. I received this book after I set up my 15 gallon and 5.5 gallon mini-reefs. I think this book does a good job in explaining everything very thoroughly. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it just doesn't compare to talking to your local pet store. If you don't have a great local pet store then you should definitely get this book as a reference!
