2. I think this book is a great Help to anyone thinking of purchasing a Persian.
   
   It covers many, many aspects of the Persian breed. And the information is quite valuable.
   
   I am a breeder of Persions.
   I highly recommend this book !



3. The only reason this book deserved a three-star rating is for the nice photography and the basic information. If you know nothing about Persians, and have never had one, then whatever you learn is a plus and you would probably benefit from this book. However, if you are experienced with Persians, you will probably find little here that you do not already know, or have not already read in other general cat care books. Granted, many cat breeds have some distinct characteristics, such as the tendancy of some Persians' eyes to "tear and run," and the extra grooming requirements necessary not only for Persians but for any long-haired cat. It is what you might call "Lesson 101 in Persian Education."



4. Very informing book. I bought this before I got my persian to help me with the purchase. Beautiful pics. Told me what to look for in purchasing and about breeding.

1. I've been a fan of the Cat Page-a-Day Calender for years now. It makes every morning worth waking up for! Even my own cat approves.



2. This collection of photos is beautiful and inspiring. I have it on my desk at work and get many compliments on the quality of the pictures. I love the quotes and sayings as well. If you love cats you will love this calendar!



3. We buy this calendar every year to give as Christmas presents for our cat-loving friends and family. We don't have to buy our own because my sister always give us one. We look forward to "Cat of the Day Time" when we turn to the new page. The photos are terrific.



4. This is a beautifully-made and beautifully-photographed calendar. I had the 2007 version and tried for some time to find a vendor who carried the 2008 version. It is cleverly constructed to show the first 6 months on one side of the pages and the other 6 months by flipping the pages over and putting them back in the plexiglass frame. I was very glad that Amazon carried the item, and at more than $5.00 off the retail suggested price. I hope they carry the future versions as well.

1. A *coffee table* book with beautiful photos by Art Wolfe, one of the best US nature/wildlife photographers. It gives basic descriptions of different wildcat species , commenting on general conservation issues in the last two chapters. It's worth buying just for the photos alone.

1. This book is a real gem for a cat lover. It is gentle, and does bring an occasional tear to ones eyes. It's full of the incredible healing nature of cats. It acknowledges that the cat is a mysterious, loyal creature and is full of purrfect sayings. This is a treasure, I read before bed. Snuggling with my own felines. It is a warm place and a great book.
   If you are feeling world worn its a good place to rest for awhile, reading about something you understand.



2. I enjoyed this book very much! It's filled with lots of sweet short stores, both touching and funny, that you can read and chew on all day. If you like cats you'll love this book!



3. My sister sent me this book for my birthday and it is the nicest gift I've received. And the cover art is a dead ringer for my best friend! I am currently on disability following a nervous breakdown, and this book has given me great comfort. Simple, pleasant and thoughtful reading. It truly is a book of meditations for cat lovers. Please ... buy this book and/or send it to anyone who could use some spiritual and humorous relief.



4. Being a cat-lover and having read many books about cats, it was with great delight that I read this absolutely different piece of reading!! The idea of transfering experiences with cats to human beings transforms every story into a trip to our most intimate feelings... It is one of the most beautiful books I`ve ever read! I wish I could publish it here in Brazil... Many Brazilian cat-lovers who don`t know English would be able to enjoy it too... Thank you for the wonderful moments I had.



5. This is a great meditation book for cat lovers as well as for those who like to apply Bible verses to their life. You can read just one meditation per day, or read a lot, whatever you're in the mood for. I received it for my birthday and plan to buy one for another friend's birthday. Makes great gifts for cat lovers!

1. If you are an animal lover, some of these stories will make you misty eyed, some of them will make you laugh out loud. Some of them will break your heart and others of them will make you want to get off the sofa and volunteer your time helping animals. But most of all, these stories are heart rendering and good for the soul.
   
   This book is well overdue, and it's time we get a book like this on the market focused on animal rescues.
