1. This book was very informative regarding the genetic aspects of breeding Siamese, and provided insight into the breeding done during the 20th century through the 1980s.



2. An excellent book if you are interested in breeding your Siamese-it goes into that aspect in depth. Unfortunately, I was looking for something that would not only give me the history, the types but also behavior patterns of Siamese - both good and bad (and how to deal with and correct the bad). Also, I was looking for more information as to medical problems that might be inherent in the Siamese breed. In other words, I wanted an overall picture of the Siamese directed at the average Siamese pet owner. This I did not get!



3. excellent book - very authoratative and well researched. Excellent pictures - I particularly liked the pencil drawings (which I actually did!!!!).

1. This book has some interesting and some good holistic advice and information, however, some of it is very wrong and could provide itself to be deadly to your cat. This book has a number of recepies for you to cook for your cat, and some of them, to my horror, called for Onion. Onion, as we know, can be deadly to cats, even in very small amounts. However, onion aside, most of the rest of the book was very interesting and helpful. Also just be aware that this book was published in England, so it calls for ingredients and products that Americans don't have easy access to.

1. This book has alot of enjoyable color pictures of different shorthair cat breeds. I think this book really shows the cats true personalities in the photos, quite interesting and fun to read. Of course there is also detailed information on feeding, grooming, cat behavior, home suggestions, preventive care and much more. What more can I say - this book has it all!

1. Great book and not just for professionals!! but also for the more interested cat-owner.

   I personally think it is a must to have this book not as a professionals but also as a cat owner.
   It gives you all the info you need, I have used it several times at my vet. But it not a easy book to read you need top know a little about medical terms, but of course you will find a book at amazon for that to.
   Niels C. Pedersen is one leaders if it comes to cat science, before this book there was not good cat-diseases book. So he wrote several, and this one of them.
   It gives a good description all kind of cat diseases.
   The book has a clear overview of contents.
   And is divided in 5 sections:
   1) Viral diseases
   2) Bacterial Diseases
   3) Mycoplasmosis, Rickettsial, Chlamydial and L-vorm diseases
   4) Fungal diseases
   5) Parasitic diseases.
