1. E' uno dei migliori testi su Inventor. E' molto dettagliato e ben curato. Spiega molto bene l'uso di Inventor dalle cose più semplici fino a quelle più complesse. Tocca praticamente tutti gli argomenti coperti dal software. Se si desidera sfruttare Inventor in modo pesante, è un testo da leggere fino in fondo.

1. For those (like me) who thought that Gaudi was the penultimate Spanish architect (I placed Calatrava a close second), this book is an eye-opener. The work here is amazing and hopefully will lead to more being written about these somewhat unsung heroes, especially Lluis Doménech i Montaner.



2. unbelievably beautiful! the impact of the Art Nouveau movement known in spain as Modernismo, had great bearing on the look of barcelona as a modernizing city in the early 20th century. the book is also a sharp tour guide of some of the great architectural works of a city that is brimming with incredible examples of the decorative arts. if youve been/youre going to barcelona or love nouveau/deco design-this is a must have!



3. I've always been interested in Gaudi, but was not aware of the variety and breadth of work done by other Catalonian architects around the same time. I don't know why this work is not better known, but should be studied by all who are interested in the arts--sculptors, painters, designers, musicians, and of course architects.

   While it is hard not to just look at the pictures, the text is interesting (although at times dense). But I found that if I didn't get too mired down most of the essays were worthwhile, especially the one that related to art and painting. As a former art history student I was surprised by how impressed I was with many of the paintings in the book--from artists I hadn't heard of.

   All in all this is a very high quality book and would be a great gift for anyone you know with an interest in art, architecture, modernism, or Spanish culture. Highly recommended.

1. I found the MathCAD users guide was much more informative and easier to read that this book.



2. Mastering Mathcad Version 7 includes imaginative math exercises which are intended to instruct as well as challenge the reader. The road to mastery is not easy. The reader must use the CD Rom and do the exercises. At first glance, it would appear that the CD Rom only shows the text as it appears in the book. This is not so! The reader is expected to interact and vary the input so as to get different results and understand the solutions. Try, try, and succeed!



3. This is a poorly written technical book. The lay out is terrible, it has no numbered or bulleted lists. Consequently, you must try to extract what little information there is from long winded paragraphs. Again, there is little information supplied when you consider the size of the book. Mostly the authors just re-write the examples that are included on the CD-ROM and they are usually pages away.

1. At first I dind't like the layout of this book. But after I had a better feel for the program, I haven't looked back since. Great book!



2. Great starter book....doesnt deal with 3D or Rendering enough though..worth every penny.

I found this book to be well-constructed and full of informative, helpful and practical examples for the novice and a great reference for the experienced.From the very minute I opened the book I was able to start drawing. I have created a set of basic architectural drawings that has allowed me to analyze different remodeling and furniture layout scenarios.This will be a treasured and well-used book in my personal library for a very long time....
