- The "prophets" invited are: José de Yturbe (Mexico), Teodoro González de León (Mexico), Massimiliano Fuksas (Italy), John Johansen (USA, Eugene Kohn (USA), Dominique Perrault (France), Antoine Predock (USA), Philippe Samyn (Belgium), Otto Steidle (Germany), Shin Takamatsu (Japan), Claude Vasconi (France), Shoei Yoh (Japan).
It is a copiously illustrated in color, but uncharacteristic survey of representative works (projects) of 12 design firms (architects), whose works in XX century were prophetic for XXI. Like other architectural monographs from the l'Arca Talenti collection sized 9 1/2 x 13 3/8 inch, it was beautifully published on glossy paper, and full of excellent color photos, but also fewer usually b&w technical drawings (plans, sections, sketches, elevations, 3D schematics, axonometric views, etc.). There is a short introduction on a few pages, then the main part presenting architectural works, and ending lists of (selected) projects (credits), etc. The quality of printing and bounding is excellent. It is slightly less technical and more album-like than the Architectural Monographs (No) series (or their present equivalent) published by Wiley-Academy (formerly Academy Editions / St. Martin's Press or Rizzoli).
