- As the listing indicates, this is a facsimile of a book produced for the Crystal Palace exhibition. Frankly it is of limited interest unless you're a connoisseur of mid-19th century English culture, world's fairs, early architectural monuments of the iron/steel construction era, etc.
My wife is a professor of art history, and she has done a lot of scholarship on 19th-century world's fairs. So purchasing this book was an easy decision for me.
